Lahiʻa was born on property to Maria. To help Lahiʻa become human-bonded, we bottle fed her (just like we did to Olena and Maria). For her safety if she is ever to escape, we need her to come to us when we call her.
After she got her starter vaccine, she became distrusting on humans. We worked extra hard to reestablish the bonds with her. She is now more accepting of us again.
Lahiʻa means "remembrance of a loved one". She was born just a few days after Kaukani passed away. In honor of Kaukani, we chose this name for her.
