We inherited Lilo and Stitch from a dear friend and supporter of FPG, Christine Love. She ran a goat operation a short distance from the sanctuary. FPG's Rob Cole had a great exchange of information about both animal care and goat care, and became good friends with both her husband, Jimmy, and her. Unfortunately Christine's breast cancer returned, and they had to sell and give away many of their animals to move to Florida for better care and support. She passed away May 21, 2023.
Lilo and Stitch were house pigs, so Christine had their shelter built at FPG Sanctuary to look like a smaller version of her house. The two pigs settled into their new home quickly. They enjoy bathing in the kiddie pools, stretching out in the sun, and enjoying the pasture life. Christine will forever be in our hearts.
