In April 2020, Chapter 2 of the Hawaii County Code was amended with the addition of article 47, whose purpose was to set forth the priority of funding recovery projects and activities after the 2018 Kilauea Eruption and to set forth the conditions for the funding.
These Kilauea Recovery Grants are funded by Recovery grants from the State of Hawaii and other donations for the purposes of "providing relief, recovery, mitigation, and remediation assistance for disaster damage, losses, and suffering caused by the 2018 Kilauea eruption."
Fellowship for Perpetual Growth was the fiscal sponsor of the KIN Domains Farm Restoration project. You can view the complete presentation on the Hawaii County website.
